A Time Zone Clock converts UTC time from your system’s internal clock and displays according to the Wclock Zone you selected for it, suitably adjusted for daylight saving time if necessary. This is the usual clock you would be using.
There are two special clock types:-
A Local System Clock always displays the local time according to your computer’s internal clock. It reflects whatever time zone and daylight saving settings you have in effect on your system.
A UTC System Clock always displays Universal Coordinated Time (UTC, also known as GMT) according to your computer’s internal clock. This will show incorrectly if you have your computer’s time zone settings wrong. See Setting Your System Clock and Time Zone.
